Hi, I’m Jo—the “JoJo” in Moosie and JoJo, professional fabric collector, bag-making enthusiast, and someone who has probably said, “I definitely don’t need any more fabric” at least 47 times. Spoiler alert: I bought more fabric.

And then there’s Stephen—my husband, my biggest supporter, and the “Moosie” behind Moosie and JoJo. He’s always encouraging my crazy ideas, helping behind the scenes, and somehow putting up with the ever-growing piles of fabric, boxes, and sewing supplies that seem to multiply overnight. This little dream may have started with my sewing obsession, but I definitely couldn’t do it without him cheering me on. 

By day, I work full time. But when I’m not working, you’ll most likely find me in my sewing room, dreaming up my next project, surrounded by way too many colorful fabrics and probably making a mess. When I’m not sewing, I love reading, working out, hiking, and generally keeping myself busy with one adventure or another.

Moosie and JoJo grew out of my love for sewing and making bags—and my slightly dangerous obsession with all the fun stuff that goes into them. Zippers? Yes, please. Bright webbing? Obviously. Hardware in every color? I’ll take one of each!

I’m starting this online shop with a big dream: to grow it into a brick-and-mortar store someday. A place where bag makers can find fun supplies, get inspired, and maybe walk out with a few things they definitely weren’t planning to buy. (We’ve all been there.)

For now, I’m building this little business one colorful package, one sewing project, and one learning-as-I-go moment at a time. Thanks for being here, supporting my crazy little dream, and coming along for the ride. I’m so glad you’re here!
